When Samsung Electric was founded, it laid a solid foundation for the independent technology of Korean component products by producing Audio/Video components. In the 1980s, it expanded its business to materials and computer components, and in the 1990s, it was committed to developing next-generation promising new products such as chip components, mobile communication components, and optical components.
